Online Trainings

Three Modules:
1. Digital Electronics for Reverse Engineering
Learn the fundamentals of integrated circuits, digital logic, and memory systems to understand and analyze hardware at the transistor level.

2. Failure Analysis for Reverse Engineering
Explore techniques for deprocessing, imaging, and modifying ICs to recover digital logic and extract critical data.

3. Invasive Attacks
Master methods to identify IC structures, analyze encrypted ROMs, and execute circuit modifications for advanced reverse engineering.

Hands-On Training in Lab

4-Day In-Lab Training: Learn IC reverse engineering, memory extraction, and hardware attacks in our state-of-the-art lab in Sophia-Antipolis. The training describes modern analysis methods involving automation and discuss the efficiency of modern counter-measures in such a context.

Be trained by our expert

Oliver THOMAS studied Electrical Engineering and began his career designing analog circuits for a major semiconductor manufacturer.
He later became Head of one of the world’s leading Integrated Circuit (IC) Analysis Labs, focusing on securing next-generation devices and developing countermeasures against piracy and counterfeiting.
Olivier contributed to the creation of advanced semi- and fully-invasive IC analysis techniques. He has deep expertise in Failure Analysis methods and equipment used to access vulnerable logic in target devices. Combining his IC design background with security research, he continues to develop automated analysis processes.
His work extends beyond smartcards to complex modern semiconductor devices such as System-on-Chips (SoCs).
Olivier is also the creator of ARES (Automated Reverse Engineering Software), a powerful toolchain for efficient IC design analysis, regardless of logical complexity.
